HOW TO SHINE BRASS HANDLES

INSTRUCTIONS

    • 1
Mix 1/2 cup of white vinegar and 1 tsp. of salt in a dish. Stir the ingredients to dissolve the salt. Pour in flour and stir until you have a paste similar to the consistency of peanut butter.
    • 2
Dip a cleaning cloth into the solution, scooping up a small amount and rubbing it over the entire brass surface.
    • 3
Let it sit for 10 minutes. Wipe the brass clean with a damp cloth.
    • 4
Dig paste residue and buildup out of crevices with a toothpick. This works especially well for door hinges and around screws and bolts.
    • 5
Dry the brass with a clean cloth to restore a polished shine.
